Todd Monge, EDRF and Development Coordinator

Prior to joining West Coast Environmental Law, Todd worked in Africa as the Branch Coordinator for the Wildlife and Environmental Society of Malawi. In Malawi, Todd’s focus was on promoting wildlife preservation through direct conservation initiatives, community development projects, establishing food security, and developing a new organizational environmental education strategy. The highlight of Todd’s time in Africa was participating in a Black Rhino conservation project to reestablish a viable population within Malawi.

Todd’s time spent traveling and working outside of Canada has given him a true appreciation of the natural beauty of BC. His leisure time is most often spent enjoying the outdoors while camping, fishing, and hiking with his wife and two dogs.
