Smart Bylaws Guide – Compact Complete Communities – Density Bonus – Port Alberni

The City’s Northport Downtown Core commercial district allows additional density for mixed-use (residential-commercial) developments. The maximum height may be increased from four stories to six as long as certain conditions are met, including providing 75% of required parking underground, an amenity room, 10% of the units as accessible suites, and 10% of the units as affordable.
