Smart Bylaws Guide – Mixing Uses – Victoria

The City of Victoria has two zones that encourage small-scale mixed-use developments in neighbourhood commercial areas outside of the downtown core.  The zoning requires commercial uses on the ground floor and residential uses above.  Residences can be as small as 33 square metres (355 square feet).
