WCEL Submission to the CleanBC Review

We review CleanBC, the Roadmap to 2030, and make suggestions on how to achieve BC’s climate goals. We address:

• Improving reporting and accountability under the Climate Change Accountability Act, 2019
• Re-evaluating the province’s commitment to the ongoing use of fossil fuels as a revenue source and as a source of energy globally
• Management of existing carbon sinks and reserves and the relationship to a net zero goal
• Improved and urgent implementation of CleanBC programs
