Peyvand Fralick

RELAW Program Coordinator

Peyvand’s (she/they) family moved from Iran to Canada when she was two years old, and settled in North Vancouver on the unceded territory of the Squamish Nation.  Now living in Vancouver with her husband and young son, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading lots of books, and creating textile art.  Whenever they find the time, her family likes to be outside camping, relaxing at the beach, or taking their dog for a hike.

Peyvand is excited to join the team as the RELAW Program Coordinator.  She has spent the majority of her career working with Indigenous communities in a variety of capacities and is happy to return to that work.  Peyvand has her CAPM designation in Project Management and for the last three years was a Project Coordinator at UBC, where she oversaw many climate education initiatives.  She believes that education is the key to social change and looks forward to using her event planning and project management skills to support the important work of the RELAW team.
