Webinars
West Coast’s team has developed several webinars to support you in addressing environmental issues that threaten the health of your communities and the places you call home. You can find more webinars on our Youtube channel.
- Moving Toward Environmental Justice: This webinar introduces some examples of environmental racism, looking at the role of law and legal institutions, as well as showcasing some solutions within the legal field and in the growing environmental justice movement.
- Environmental Justice in Action: Panelists look at some of the links between oppression, law and environmental issues; and discuss different ways we can harness legal tools to challenge oppressive systems and protect land, water and communities from environmental harm.
- Coastal and Ocean Protection Law in BC: Our marine lawyers provide an introduction to the laws and jurisdictional issues that affect the coast and marine environment, highlighting real-life examples to demonstrate how different legal tools have been used to protect coastal and ocean ecosystems.
